VICKY WEST CONSERVATION

I am a fully qualified Book & Paper Conservator and in 2014 became an Accredited member of the Institute of Conservation*.  


I have many years experience of working in a major library institution where I have conserved several high profile collection items as well as numerous bindings of all ages and historical styles. I previously worked as a freelance Book Conservator at the College of Arms, the centre for heraldic and genealogical research, working on a wide range of books and manuscripts from their historic library collection.

Graduate Certificate in Bookbinding & Book Restoration (Distinction) - London College of Communication 2005


BA (Hons) Fine Art Textiles - Winchester School of Art 1993


I have full Conservator’s Insurance including Professional Indemnity.
