ABOUT

I am a fully qualified Book & Paper Conservator and in 2014 became an Accredited member of the Institute of Conservation.

I worked for a decade in a major library institution where I conserved numerous bindings of all ages and historical styles. This included several high profile collection items such as Leonardo da Vinci's notebook and John Milton's family Bible. I am now fully freelance working from my studio in North London. I also work regularly onsite at the College of Arms, the centre for heraldic and genealogical research, conserving books and manuscripts from their historic library collection.
