I am an experienced conservator specialising in books and am an Accredited member of the Institute of Conservation.

Working from my studio in North London, I carry out a range of conservation treatments on paper-based material for clients ranging from museum institutions to individual collectors.

I have extensive experience in the remedial conservation of a wide range of historical binding styles and formats. In addition, I offer gold finishing, custom-made presentation boxes, phase boxing, conservation mounting and framing and can undertake condition surveys and assessments. I also specialise in photographic preservation and can advise on and carry out rehousing projects in addition to the repair and conservation of photographic materials.

My work adheres to the highest professional standards as outlined here. My approach is to retain as much original material as possible whilst carrying out skilful repairs that are appropriate to the history, aesthetics and future use of the item.

Each project is accompanied by written and photographic documentation and treatment options are discussed with the client throughout the conservation process.
